Welcome To Verney College

Verney College was established in 1975 as a Portuguese and South African Primary and High School. Accredited by Umalusi, Council for Quality Assurance in General and Further Education and Training – accreditation number 17 SCH01 00391. Academically, we run the Independent Examination Board (IEB) syllabus and exams.

Our facilities include 24 classrooms with a state of the art computer room, science lab and a library. We have a teaching staff of 24 teachers, fully qualified and registered with the South African Council of Educators. (SACE)
Our School
Verney College is an English medium, co-educational primary and high school, catering for learners from Grade 0 to Grade 12.

Our classes are small classes (20-25 pupils) and are taught by highly qualified teachers.

The School provides academic support and after care for homework supervision with qualified teachers, as well as a Computer Studies program.

A 100% Matric Pass and numerous distinctions have been obtained over the past few years.

Regardless of I.Q , we believe that a well developed and balanced E.Q ( Emotional intelligence) will enable our learners to succeed. It is important that our learners feel comfortable, self-confident and ready to face the future.
